Having experience in the California Real Estate market for decades, Joan began her real estate career as a Broker’s Assistant and quickly became a Realtor® for many years before following her creative journey as a professional photographer for the next 25 years. This creative adventure launched her into a successful photography career which is still ongoing. She is honored to have been included in some of the photography industry’s most prestigious awards such as Communication Arts, American Photography and PDN’s Photo Annual amongst other awards. She has also held creative positions as a Photo Director and Photo Editor at various publishing companies and prestigious home decor companies such as Chairish and EBTH and has worked with many interior design firms. Featured editorial clients include Vanity Fair, dwell, Rolling Stone and Coastal Living to name a few and she has worked with multiple publishing companies including Simon & Schuster and Penguin Random House, photographing cook books, celebrity health & fitness books and multiple author for their book covers.

Most notably, her poignant documentary images of her mother’s decline with Alzheimer’s Disease while she was her caregiver were featured in various articles and honored in American Photography.

Life returned full circle when she purchased a 1957 beach bungalow in Hollywood Beach and her extensive experience in real estate, production and creative directing perfectly compliment her passion for helping homeowners and buyers alike reach their goals.
